Training

If you want your child to have fun and begin the process of learning to play soccer in a clean, safe and friendly environment, you won’t want to miss out on this program.  The Lil Striker Soccer Program is designed to open up the sport of soccer to young people ages 4 – 6 years of age.

Normally, the player at 7 – 18 years of age that has a good foundation to skills and an interest in developing their skills quickly or a player that is struggling to develop their soccer skills are great prospects for the more personalized “soccer training” program.  This program is taught by USSF national coaches, but it retains its personal approach and its emphasis on having fun while learning the game.

COST OF THE PROGRAM:  The class fee is $65 for each child.  Students will receive individual help in all phases of soccer, with careful attention in developing proper techniques for dribbling, passing and shooting the ball.  They will be matched in physically compatible groups, using Age, Size, and experience as key factors.

CLASS GOALS:
Students will experience the FUN, FITNESS and FELLOWSHIP of the great sport of soccer.  In addition to the introductory version of the sport of how to dribble, pass and move with the ball, students will also learn basic running skills that will help with fundamental soccer moves and shooting such as Lunge and go, and the pull move.  As a player’s skill develops we will introduce the first steps to basic ball juggling as well as Technique on demand and advanced dribbling skills such as the step over and fake the pull move.

Your Student will continue to refresh and learn the basics such as how to finish on goal and teaching the rules of thumb for attacking the goal.  As the session begins to wrap up the student will learn more moves such as scissors, spin move, and how to cut the ball.  Also, player possession by shielding and how to maintain team possession will be taught.

Giving our children a better chance of succeeding is a goal for a lot of moms and dads.  We also see that as children get older, learning the skill also makes participation more fun.  At Sports of All Sorts we remain committed to you and your children in teaching life’s lessons and values through athletics.
